Terms of Use

These terms govern your purchase and use of DebtPath IQ™, a Windows desktop application, and this website. The product and site are operated by Dos Espadas, LLC ("we," "us"), a Texas limited liability company, under the brand Rat Race Escape Plan. By buying or using DebtPath IQ™, you agree to these terms.

1. The license you are buying

Your one-time purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to install and use DebtPath IQ™ on up to three computers you own. When you replace a computer, your license moves with you — deactivate the old device to free a slot, then activate the app on the new one, at no extra charge.

• You may not resell, rent, share, or publish your license key.
• You may not copy, decompile, or redistribute the software itself.
• This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no recurring fee.

2. DebtPath IQ™ is a planning tool, not advice

DebtPath IQ™ is an educational planning tool. It is not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice, and using it does not create any advisory relationship. Its calculators and projections are estimates based on the numbers you enter. For decisions about your money, consult a qualified professional. You are responsible for your own financial choices.

3. Payment and the seller of record

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. That means Lemon Squeezy is the seller of record for the transaction and handles payment processing and applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST. Their terms also apply to your purchase. We never see or store your full card details.

4. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Your data stays with you

DebtPath IQ™ stores your financial information on your own computer, encrypted. There is no account and no cloud. We cannot see your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. No warranty

DebtPath IQ™ is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee any particular financial result, including that you will become debt-free or save a specific amount. Your results depend on your own numbers and choices.

7. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dos Espadas, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of DebtPath IQ™. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
